I live in the states now, but- I lived in Thurston in the 1970's and 80's and went to Thurston upper, the model is exact and cannot believe you even have the old fox and hounds pub there behind the bridge. great job.

Nice work! I am just learning to use my Merlin. I can't seem to to get rid of the back and forth rock. Is that a balancing issue or do I just get the hang of it with time? Also what is this music?!!

Dont have that camera or lens. Maybe someone who does can help you. Watch the supplied Merlin DVD and make sure you have the starp taken off the camera. Also, zoom out fully to 35mm and leave the lens there (if you change the zoom at any time - obviously not during flying though - it will change the balancing point). Takes a lot of practice but you have to have the basics sorted first. Good luck.

Simple! There is a huge depth of field with a wide angle (here it was set at either 14mm or a very wide 10mm). With a 1/50th shutter speed and F stops/ISO etc. then used to get correct exposure she was always in focus even if the distance between us changed a bit as we did the running alongside/behind shots.

If you shot this video in manual focus, how were you able to get consistant focus while running along side you little girl??? Thank You.

Compared to the SD90, this has better close-ups, better colour in low light and more features. The only reason Im comparing them is because the SD90 is really cheap for what it is and Im wondering weather it is worth paying that extra £200 - £300 for the tm900? (rehetorical question) I have decided to go with this one because it's the most convincing video filmed by the tm900 that i have seen. Thank you! :D - Just like to add, the 2012 models aren't any better than the 2011 ones.
